"Sunflower" was founded in Vojvodina village Hajdukovo, near Subotica, in 1989. As a devoted vegetarian, and since the mid-eighties the macrobiotic diet follower, tree decades ago, its owner, Ivan Perčić, decided to embark upon organic agriculture. The first equipment that was purchased was a hundred years old hydraulic press for extracting of pumpkin and sesame seed oil in a traditional fashion. The "Sunflower" is the result of this long-standing commitment to a healthier nutrition and life in general.

In the year of 2013 they decided to add the brand, Granum, alongside the company "Sunflower".

Today "Sunflower" have more than 60 products such as: cold pressed and virgin oils, seed butters, organic vinegars, protein flours, bars and organic crackers.

In production, the highest quality raw materials are used, which are health-safe and have a beneficial effect on the human organism. In addition to being 100% natural, all products are gluten free and vegan, and most of them are organic.

Except in Serbia, these products can also be found in: France, Netherlands, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and soon on the markets of the Czech Republic, Spain and Canada.
